PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

We welcome you to our country Bed and Breakfast only 8 minutes from Courtenay at the base of Forbidden Plateau Mountain. Our country home is set amongst towering cedars on five acres of peaceful farmland. The Puntledge River flows behind our property and magnificent forest trails provide endless hiking and access to wonderful swimming holes.

With our location only 6 minutes to the start of the Mt. Washington highway and only 13 minutes to internationally famous Strathcona Park, skiing and hiking are only minutes away. We are also near Crown Isle for golf and ocean beaches for fishing or swimming.

Relax at the end of the day around the fire or in our garden hot tub. For those rainy days, our lounge has a cozy fireplace, satellite TV, VCR and library for your enjoyment.

ROOMS: All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms and separate entrances.

  • "The Quarterdeck" - a large two room suite with queen bed upstairs and sitting room downstairs with a hide-a-bed for extra accommodation. Opens to its own sunny deck and patio.
  • "The Garden Room"- a twin bed room or it can be made up as a king. It also has a sundeck facing the sunrise.
  • "Rose Cottage" - a quaint honeymooners cottage set in the garden with its own private patio. Queen and single bed.

DIRECTIONS: We're easy to find:
From Inland Highway #19, take exit 127( Piercy Rd. ) then turn right on Forbidden Plateau Rd. and go approximately 2.5 km.
We are one and a quarter hours north of Nanaimo and three hours from Victoria.
