Where Are We and How do you get here ?

The Comox Valley is a distinctive collection of small communities, farms and forested areas located on the central east coast of Vancouver Island. It includes the communities of Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland, and also encompasses the outlying rural areas of Denman Island, Hornby Island, Royston, Merville, Black Creek, Oyster River and Saratoga and Miracle beaches. Our area contains an endless variety of beaches, mountains, quaint rural attractions and vibrant downtown centers. The Comox Valley enjoys a mild temperate climate and is one of the most diverse recreational and cultural destinations in the world!

In the Comox Valley it really is possible to ski, golf, fish, hike and go to the theatre, all in the same day - and that's just the beginning!

"Alpine to Ocean" describes our area perfectly as there are endless land, water, wilderness and wildlife adventures waiting for you. Not many communities can offer that kind of variety!
